Product Description:

Secure your pickup truck load bed instantly by upgrading your Toyota Hilux 2026+ with the Power Lock Tailgate Central Locking system. The integrated system converts your manual tailgate into a fully central locking setup, protecting your valuable tools, equipment, and cargo from opportunistic theft. By synchronising directly with your vehicle's existing security, it dramatically improves cargo safety and provides total peace of mind every time you lock your doors.

Most UK pickup trucks do not feature a locking tailgate as standard, leaving your cargo area exposed. This locking kit is built for everyday use, utilising a robust internal actuator and bracket system that installs completely out of sight. Because the mechanism is hidden within the tailgate assembly, it maintains an OEM+ appearance and complements the factory styling of your pickup truck. It functions seamlessly in the background, working in harmony with tonneau covers, roller shutters, and hardtop canopies to transform your open load bed into a fully secure boot space.

Key features

• Automatic locking convenience that synchronises directly with your existing Toyota key fob
• Discreet interior fitment that keeps the locking mechanism completely hidden from view to preserve the factory styling
• Hassle-free installation using existing factory fixing points with absolutely no drilling required
• Maximum load bed protection when used in combination with tonneau covers, roller shutters, or hardtop canopies
• Time-saving operation that eliminates the need to carry or use an additional manual key
• Robust, weather-protected construction designed to withstand heavy daily use in all climates
• Tailored fitment specifically engineered for the Toyota Hilux 2026+ for reliable and precise operation
• Value protection for your cargo and tools by preventing opportunistic theft from an open tailgate

Why choose this Tailgate Lock?

Securing the cargo area of your pickup truck is vital, especially when carrying expensive equipment, tools, or outdoor gear. By integrating this central locking actuator with your Toyota Hilux, you establish a secure boundary for your load bed. When paired with a tonneau cover or canopy, your tailgate transforms into a secure compartment, protecting your gear whether parked on a busy job site or in a public car park. It is one of the most practical Toyota Hilux accessories you can choose to make everyday vehicle styling both functional and secure.

Installation is highly straightforward and designed with the vehicle owner in mind. The system utilises factory fixings inside the tailgate, meaning there is no drilling required and no risk of damaging your vehicle's paintwork or body panels. It connects directly to your Hilux's central locking wiring system, offering dependable, keyless protection without the hassle of carrying extra keys or separate fobs.
